Since 1 January 2021, our restaurant in the Hotel Krüzli has carried the "Goût Mieux" award and thus stands for a high-quality and fine range of food and drinks - all in sustainable quality.
As a «Goût Mieux» establishment, we guarantee that at least half of all the food used in our kitchen comes from animal and environmentally friendly production - from the region, in organic and/or Fairtrade quality. «Goût Mieux» regularly inspects us through the independent inspection body bio.inspecta AG to ensure that we still meet all the guidelines.

We pay particular attention to regional origin and organic quality in our meat and fish dishes. Our suppliers treat their animals with respect and provide the best ingredients for the following dishes on our menu:
Sedrun lamb stew according to Imelda's recipe, organic beef stew, Sedrun Grisons meat, organic beef tartare, organic trout, organic black tiger.
September and October are the hunting season here in the region - and accordingly game season for us: in autumn, our menu offers fine specialities from local hunting such as venison pepper, venison escalope or venison schnitzel.
The chard leaves for our homemade Capuns Sursilvans grow in small organic gardens in the neighbouring village. The popular Grisons speciality is also available in a vegetarian version - exclusively and only here!
Two other popular vegetarian dishes: Bizochels with Grisons flour and organic vegetables and Grisons polenta baked with Disentis mountain cheese.
Our desserts are also regional, such as homemade apple or blueberry cake or organic ice cream from the Gaudi Cathomen farm in Brigels.
The wild chives from the surrounding mountains taste juicy and spicy. The mountain hay soup is also a hit. Senior chef Leci also likes to personally wield the scythe ...
The two local bakeries La Conditoria and La Miula supply our bread, rolls and croissants for breakfast.
Our exotics from warmer regions and countries - like bananas and kiwis, the orange juice or our organic Caffe Badilatti - bear the Fairtrade seal.
We get dried meat specialities directly from next door - from the Curschellas butchery of our neighbours Diego and Marianne.
We also get many of our drinks from the region or from Switzerland: Passugger mineral springs or spring-fresh, lively, powerful Grander water as well as the organic beer from Bieraria da Tschlin or the fine beers from the Locher brewery in Appenzell.

In our restaurant you can marvel at some truly extraordinary crystal specimens before, after, or even during your meal: Large local finds with their fascinating colours and glittering surfaces characterise our dining room.
These wonders of nature were all found by a crystal hunter (Strahler) from the neighbouring village of Rueras, and the treasures so well protected by the rugged mountain world were brought to our hotel. Dosi Venzin, who is also involved in the international scene, has put together his crystals and minerals from the Cavradi gorge and Val Giuv for us in a wonderful crystal exhibition.
These great treasures are of course also available in "mini" and are a very special souvenir of our mountains. After dinner, each child can choose a small Sedrun rock crystal and take it home with them.
