From Hotel Krüzli you have all Winter sports activities within a radius of 3 km right outside the hotel door:

Just opposite starts the cross-country skiing circuit Sedrun, which is prepared for classic and skating.

In Sedrun by the train station you will find the children's ski area. The cable car also takes skiers up to Cuolm da Vi (2,203 m).

In Dieni, a chairlift takes skiers and tobogganists up to Milez (1,800 m).

There are numerous winter hiking trails all around the valley.

Tourist Information

The Tourist Information is on the other side of the street opposite the hotel. Here you can buy ski and cross-country ski passes and sledging tickets. There are numerous information brochures, event tips and plans - the friendly staff are happy to answer many questions from guests.

If you don't have the right winter sports equipment yet, or would rather rent it, you can do so at our neighbours Riccardo and Simona.
Young, smart and competent, their team will find the right outfit for everyone. Riccardo also offers an excellent service for all snow sports equipment.

If you have not yet mastered your snow sports equipment or would like to improve your technique, Riccardo is also the right choice for you.

Skiing - Downhill skiing
​
The SkiArena Andermatt-Sedrun-Disentis comprises 22 lifts and 120 km of pistes and is the largest ski area in Central Switzerland.
Our guests can buy the ski pass at the tourist information office directly opposite the hotel or conveniently in the SkiArena online shop:

Since the 2019/20 winter season, the half-price subscription has been available: booked once, there is a 50% discount on the ski pass, i.e. on all slopes of the SkiArena, throughout the winter.
The train is always included in the ski pass and runs regularly. Guests can take the train to Dieni, to the Oberalp Pass or to Andermatt and go skiing on Gemsstock.
The slopes of Gemsstock are the choice for powder snow descents, while the sunny slopes in the Andermatt-Oberalp-Sedrun area are the more relaxing and family-friendly option.

Cross country skiing
​
The cross-country ski pass is included in the guest card. Otherwise you can also buy the cross-country ski pass at the tourist information or in the online shop:

Sedrun circular trail
Directly opposite the hotel, you can get on the Sedrun round track. The cross-country ski run takes you from Sedrun via Rueras to Dieni. Along the Rhine you will come back to Sedrun. With all the loops there is a total running distance of 15 km.

Nordic surselva
The Nordic Surselva route always runs along the Rhine from Disentis to Trun. The route of 18.6 km is suitable for beginners and experts alike. With all the loops there is a total of 30 km of cross-country skiing track. If you would like to ski this Disentis-Trun route, the cable car will take you to the start of the Nordic Surselva.

Ice skating
Right at the start of the cross-country ski run in Sedrun you will also find the ice rink. Here you can elegantly do your laps on natural ice and maybe even do a few pirouettes - whether voluntary or involuntary ...

Sledging
​
Winter fun for young and old can be had on the surrounding toboggan runs. You left your sledge at home? No problem, we will be happy to lend you one - and off you go!
If, on the other hand, you've always wanted to sweep down the piste in a tubular tyre, head for the Valtgeva Snowpark, above Sedrun station.
Every Thursday is SnowNight - the toboggan run between Milez and Dieni is illuminated.

Snowshoeing and ski touring

Winter hiking
​
For the connoisseurs among the snow sports enthusiasts there are numerous winter hiking trails.
A high-level trail with a wonderful view leads through small villages from Sedrun to Disentis. At a few places there is the possibility to wave to the passengers of the Glacier-Express.
Another tip is the hike from Tschamut to Milez. A small path leads up through a romantic forest. At the top, you can take a snack in the mountain restaurant Milez. If you want an easy way back down, just hop on your sledge and take the toboggan run back to Dieni.
